bout last two weeks madihah text me asking me if i am willing to host a muslimat's majlis ilmu for balai ncl...so i said sure...n she asked if i can prepared something for the day...n i said sure...jishin mangmang je ...then baru ingat nak tanya bape org selalunyer dtg...n she said about 15...erkkk...tp okla kot...its been long since i cooked for that amount of people....the last time was when i was 2 months pregnant..during raya...about 40 pople came back then...hmmm...kitorang memang suke ajak orang dtg makan2 kat umah...tp tak kesempatan lg kat sini...
so, i was thinking what should i cook?something not too heavy...since majlis will start at 2.30...end bout 4 pm...but not too light...apo aaa...mummy memang ler tak reti masakan tradisional nih...so i think i will make simple n easy to prepare food..maybe pasta n some dessert...not spagetti...pasta yg pendek2 tuh kot...but gonna make it a little bit malaysian style...sikit pedas...ii kana...then make a choc cake kot...for beverages,some fruit juice n hot tea kot...
agak2 ok tak..okla kan...kan...kinco gak first time ajak org mai nih...any other idea?

Thursday,January 24th 2008...
Journey started with boarding the no12 bus to the monument.baby was constantly in the sling n i have a backpack on my shoulders n hubby a bigger backpack with the wonderful new camera...hehe...got off the bus...n down to the metro...to the newcastle airport.baby slept all the way to the airport after her "teetees"...checked-in with easyJet...n waited in the departure lounge...baby woke up n played a while with her...got on the plane n baby behaved really well.when the plane took off she had her teetees n drift off to sleep again!flight took only 45 minutes...landed safely at stansted airport...n walked to coach bay to go to london city on easyBus...which is not a bus...but a minibus/van...5pounds only!cheap!!!baby slept again all the way to london...n we arrived at victoria station after 6...bought some snacks from sainsbury,n headed to the easyHotel 10 minutes walking from victoria station....baby was very full of energy when we got to the hotel....the room was so small,yet quite stylish...i really liked the bathroom...small n compact...could i have one for daughter's room?hehe...hubby got out again to get us some dinner,found a halal curry shop nearby...n that were what we ate for two days in a row...whatever as long it is cheap n halal...n tastes quite good too!played with baby some more till she was sleepy...n off we were on the bed...zzzzzzzz....
Friday,January 25th 2008...
Spend the whole day on the hop on hop off bus...the popular red bus!very convenient since can easily breastfeed baby whilst enjoying the sight n listening to the commentary...luckily we went to london during winter because they have 48hours offer tickets,for 24hours price!!plus we got 2 pounds off each ticket for buying them online...original price was 19.50,n we got it for 17.50...child below 5 is FREE!before that we walked to the buckingham palace n took some pictures...the queen was nowhere to be seen...hummm...so we only took the picture of the guard,which we first thought was a robot!hehe...we hopped off at trafalgar square where a lot of pigeons lepak....there was the national art gallery...free admission yet we did not go in...not much of art appreciators.....,next...tower of london which is not so tall,n quite nice looking castle and tower bridge,which people always get confused with london bridge...the london bridge looks like any other bridge...the tower bridge is the one on most postcards...did not hopped off at london dungeon (scary...n idon't like scary places..) ,st paul cathedral,westminster abbey,big ben n parliament square...just took the pictures from the bus...then stayed on the bus n enjoy the day for another round before retiring to the hotel.
Saturday,January 26th 2008...
Woke up late..had some breakfast...n got on the red bus again..this time following the yellow line...which have live commentary...n very enlightening...i knew from the commentary where prince charles live now n saw his guards marching to n fro his gate...where the canterburry founder live,one of the oldest cafe in london was royal cafe...the london big fire was on the year 1616...( if i heard correctly) there is a garden named key garden...which to enter the garden you have to use a key...n to get a key you must have a property near the garden..n that sherlock holmes house was on 221 baker street ( but of course it was fictional )...what else...ouh n madam tussaud is not the person who made all the wax dolls...she inherited them from her employer (she was a maid) n soon became a collector...interesting ehhh...then we hopped off at haymarket n bough fridge magnets for ourselves,n hopped on the blue line red bus...blue line bus go to royal albert hall,where we hopped off...we wanted to see the kesington palace...but too lazy to walk..n the baby was cranky...we hopped on back n just ride the bus...it goes through a few museum...n harrods...took harrods picture from the bus only...since not interested to shop there.hop off to change to red line again to go to madame tussaud wax museum...that place was packed with people...but able to snapped few pictures..yey!then got back to the hotel n rest.
Sunday,January 27th 2008...
Checked out from hotel, n went to oxford street via tube...went into nikeshop,babygap,mamasnpapas nursery...but bought nothing...just bought london tshirts for fareehah,fikri n syakirin...some pen for bang min's children...ouh..they have beardpapa n uniqlo here too!then before 2pm went back to victoria station to have lunch...at almost 3 went back to the bus stop .... easyBus-->easyJet-->metro-->bus no12-->HOME!!!!

saikin tak de idea sangat nak mem blog...kdg2 dah ader idea nak citer...tp biaser la..time tu la anak ku nih nak datang kat mama dier...ketuk2 keyboard jugak...dier memang tak leh tengok mama dier ketuk keyboard,makan,gi dapur...nanti dia tak keruan...hehehe...mama makan...dier nak makan jugak...mama tgk internet dier nak jugak...mama masak dier pon nak jugak...hehehe..
sekarang kalau dier nak tgk laptop time mama tgh pakai internet,mama pasang flash card yg wat pakai powerpoint tuh...suker dier...kalau mama makan akan suap dier jugak..kalau sesuai utk dier makan...nak senang biler masak ,before letak garam n gula asingkan sket utk dier...bole bagi dier nanti...biler mama tgh masak,abah akan tolak dier dalam keter pink dier...kadang2 siap tertido lagik...heehe..
takde aper nak citer sebenanya...tp byk plak dah taip...okla tu jer...
gigi dah tumbuh dua batang...hehehe...

resepi lagik....tapi choc cake nih memang best giler...mummy cedok dari mamafami...cuber la...bestt...
WET CHOCOLATE CAKE
375 gm butter
600 gm caster sugar
6 eggs
600 gm water
500 gm flour }
100 gm chocolate powder }
1 tea spoon baking powder } sift together
1 tea spoon soda bicarbonate }
1. Beat butter n sugar
2. Add in egg one per time
3. Fold in the sifted flour
4. Add in water
5. Bake at preheated oven 180 degree celcius 40~45 minutes
i made half the recipe n divide it into 2 of 8inches pan..looked almost like brownies but with moist cake texture..yummy!

a very wierd thing happened this morning.the bread we put on the table last night was gone.i did not threw it away,because i remembered as the last one eating it at about 11 pm.maybe it was a mouse???...errr...ader rattatouille ke kat umah nie...mungkin gak since kadang-kadang ader bunyi-bunyi kat dapur n plastik sampah pecah kadang-kadang...risau ler plak...tp yg pelik,dia amek seplastik terus tuh...agaknye dier marah kitorang beli tong sampah baru yg ader penutup...dier tak le makan...cano aaa....
tokoro de ...kak hasni mintak wat kan kek for birthday anak dia on sunday...so i made 3 layer milk cake.tak de idea decorate...so this is the final product...writing agak crooked sbb icing dah stat mengeras...(sejuk) anyone interested?hehe...i make vanilla n chocolate cake,n learning to make sponge cake...both vanilla n choc...iced with buttercream unless requested for fresh or cheese cream.delivery is pick up only ye...so terhad for ncl people la ye...

Its been long since i made update on my baby's developement...quick update since she was born till now...
1 day after born - can lift head when lying on her stomach
1 months ++ - start bay talk while breastfeeding
2 months - start to laugh when talking to mama
4 months ++ - can roll over but could not roll back on her back,can say abah...first nestum,only when back in malaysia because everyone kept telling me to give her solid already.
5 months - can roll over n back
5 months ++ - starting to crawl combat style backwards
6 months - crawl combat style foward
6 months ++ - crawl on her feet n hands, sit on her own,can say abah,mama,tete,dah,adeh....solid once a week since she was not accepting it well
7 months - standing while holding on to things such as sofa,walls..
7 months ++ walking left-right-left while holding on to things
8 months - have one teeth.proper solid twice a day.porridge with veggies n chicken or meat.but she does not like soft porridge,likes it lumpy.
wondering when will she able to walk by her own?before 1 year?or after..talking a proper sentence...haaa...will she always has a loud voice like now?hmmm...time will tell...

Hijrah itu pengorbanan,hijrah itu perjuangan....
Ingat tak lagu tuh...n betapa benarnya...bila berhijrah fizikal atau mental...banyak pengorbanan yang perlu dilakukan.Berhijrah dari seorang isteri kepada isteri dan ibu...banyak pengorbanan dan perlu melalui jalan yang penuh berliku dan banyak cabaran dan halangannya.Hijrah dari seorang engineer kepada pelajar semula..byk juga pengorbanan yang perlu dilakukan...semua pengorbanan dilakukan untuk mencapai sesuatu yang ingin di perjuangkan...paham ke aaa...tak paham pon tak pe la...
Dalam hidup kita,ader give n take..pro n kontra...kiter tak bole dapat semua yg kiter mahu without something yang perlu kita korbankan.Setiap aper yang kiter buat bukan semua betul,positif...kdg2 mungkin aper yg kita sangka btul ader juga salahnya...Me n hubby mahukan hidup di mana kami dapat meluangkan banyak masa untuk anak n bakal anak2 kami...so kami berpuas ati hidup bersederhana...n mummy berkorban benti keje n berjauhan from family di malaysia a few a years utk capai hajat ni.tak kaya duit...tp insya Allah kaya dgn masa dan ape yg dianugerahkan pada kami...family...Ader orang mungkin nak kaya,tp pengorbanan nya mungkin masa terlalu suntuk untuk anak n family...ader orang mungkin nak glamer...ader orang mungkin nak self satisfaction yg bermcm jenis pula lg...lain orang,lain la tujuan hidup kan...pilihan masing2...hmm...
Apapun selamat menyambut muharram...semoga hijrah kite di redhai Allah...amin.

already 2nd january...too late to wish happy new year?...i have one main resolution this year..
1- to successfully breastfeeding my baby for another 16 months.
any other resolution?...hmm...being me,i know as the days passes by i would always have some new aim throughout the year...hehe...why bother to list them all?...two of my best friends married end last year,n another best friend thinking of having a little one soon!...if three of them get pregnant this year...when we get home...my baby will have soo many friends!!yey...!
tokoro de...i'm so stressed by the fact,that no matter how much time i spend vacuuming my carpet...it does not look cleaner when i'm done....gggrrrrr...something wrong with the carpet, or the vacuum? or me? aggghhh...take a deep breath....
ouh...n my baby has fully recovered...just a little runny nose..she already has one cute teeth..( apparently,the teething also contribute to her feverish...i thought they always come out two-by-two?nope?)...luckily she does not bite me while she is breastfeeding...very alert n curious baby now!...n she loves it when i read the moo-moo book to her!..good girl!
